University of Ulster, Northern Ireland: Research and Statistics Summer School

A two-week summer school on research methods, measurements and statistical analysis for the behavioural and social sciences will be held at the University of Ulster, Magee campus, Derry, Northern Ireland from 22nd August to 2nd September, 2011. The Summer School is in its 21st year and is led by Prof. Brendan Bunting.

PPS: Introduction to Special Section on Bayesian Data Analysis

Okay, Lindley was quite optimistic when he wrote on the “21th Bayesian Century” in 1975. The Special Section on Bayesian Data Analysis published in “Perspectives in Psychological Science” (PPS) is one of the many steps towards a Bayesian Century. So everybody, keep your fingers crossed!
